On my way out of the land of Cape San Blas and heading east through Florida on 98saint marks
It was Breakdown time for the Mule, Yep, I knew he was going to be stubborn, I just didn’t think that it would be so soon. And yes, he heated up and melted part of the wiring harness and an EGR valve thingie.

Once in the park it was still a nice little ride on to the light house on the bay.

I meandered around the lovely lighthouse peeking in windows looking for ghosts, then kicked back by the bay a bit and took in the beauty spot that is the Appalachicola bay.

Now there is nothing like the site of the Appalachicola bay that will help one develop a hunger saint marks florida lighthousefor Oysters. Yep, It was time to hop on the Wind up Toy of Adventure and head to the very Oyster Bar that the Mule broke down in front of. As it was now open for business.

I wandered into the Oyster Bar ordered up a cold one and had a couple of dozen Oysters.

It was sort of a biker bar feel with lots of country. Classic Dukes of Hazard was on the tellie complete with memories of how hot I thought the real Daisy was back in the day (none of that Jessica Simpson rubbish). Now being a North Georgia Mountain man I felt right at home and I appalachicola_oystersfind myself developing more and more of a biker persona every day. Likely thanks to the Wind Up Toy adventures. I think that I need to upgrade the wee scooter to a cooler and faster scooter complete with babe.
